History of MiddleNameLove

and the Pink Angels

During the pandemic, we connected with the Pink Angels from an orphanage in Myanmar. There was this 13-year-old girl battling a rare, aggressive nose cancer. Leveraging 25 years of research and management experience, we raised $13,000 in weeks, put together a team of volunteers from Egypt, the Philippines, Thailand, and Myanmar.

Our collective resilience and our volunteers’ selfless love for this child beat cancer. She is now cancer free

Embracing that deep passion for someone else when we were all in personal turmoil, was unplanned and unexpectedly rewarding. We had hope, we took action, and we were fearless.

In the end we saved each other, the cancer child and us.  The power of love is limitless and only by loving ourselves can we truly love others and make a meaningful difference.
